Kwaliteitsregister Jeugd (SKJ) is the professional register for professionals in the youth sector in the Netherlands. As an independent implementation organization, we are responsible for the legal registration of university-educated youth professionals who work in complex and risky situations. We assess whether youth professionals meet the criteria for (re)registration and maintain a system of professional supervision.

We also prioritize the well-being of the individual behind the professional. Although we cannot change the rules, we continually strive to improve information provision and processes and act as a guide for professionals whenever possible. By using the Youth Quality Framework, you can determine whether your work requires registration.
