SKMO

Matematická olympiáda is a prestigious competition for students from primary and secondary schools, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic in collaboration with the Union of Slovak Mathematicians and Physicists and the Slovak Mathematical Olympiad Commission. This competition is overseen by SKMO at the national level, with regional commissions managing it in various regions. Teachers of mathematics facilitate the contest within individual schools.

Matematická olympiáda offers a platform for students to showcase their mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking. Beyond the competition, the brand organizes related activities such as summer camps, training sessions, and workshops to nurture mathematical talent. Recently, the Slovak representation at the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad achieved exceptional success, securing a 5th place finish out of 37 European countries, garnering four valuable medals.
