About Škola da Vinci
Škola da Vinci | Dolni Brezany is a private innovative school located in the village of Dolní Břežany, on the outskirts of Prague. Founded in 2010, our school is based on democratic principles and offers a unique educational experience. Our campus comprises a kindergarten, primary and secondary school, as well as a school counseling center.
Students and teachers have access to various facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, specialized classrooms for arts, ceramics, music, and science, and even a school café called Caffinci. We also have a forest kindergarten located nearby. At Škola da Vinci, we prioritize student autonomy and independence in learning, fostering internal motivation and a lifelong love for learning.
Both students and teachers actively participate in decision-making processes, and interdisciplinary project work is integrated throughout our curriculum. Our aim is to develop not only academic skills but also soft skills, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking abilities. Currently, our school has 262 students, supported by 50 teachers and 11 non-teaching staff members.
