About Dansk Skoleskak
Dansk Skoleskak is a voluntary, social, and community-engaging children and youth organization. With a special focus on how chess strengthens the academic and social development of children and young people, Dansk Skoleskak offers a range of products and services to support this mission. Their offerings include free information, book consultations, membership opportunities, school visits, and educational programs such as GAMBIT® PLAYMASTER®, Hjernen På Skemaet®, FGU-MOVES®, and MELLEMFORMER/PPR.
They also organize Brain Booster Camps and SFT tournaments and provide the opportunity to visit vision schools. Dansk Skoleskak is dedicated to making chess accessible to all through their program Skoleskak For Alle®. They also conduct research, organize events like the DM I SKOLESKAK & LÆRINGSFESTIVAL, and maintain a comprehensive calendar.
In addition, they offer a CSR scheme, job opportunities, and a webshop called Skakshoppen. With a focus on strengthening the brain, fostering a love for learning, and building friendships, Dansk Skoleskak is dedicated to supporting schools and educators in implementing chess programs for students
