Lesní mateřská škola VENKU is a forest kindergarten in Proseč nad Nisou, Jablonec nad Nisou, serving children aged three to six. Established by the Statutory City of Jablonec nad Nisou, it provides full-day preschool care in nature, five days a week throughout the year. Its small group has a capacity of 18 children, guided by experienced and enthusiastic educators.

The school’s approach connects children with the natural world and supports healthy habits, resilience, confidence, independence, creativity, and motivation through firsthand experience. Children have room to explore at their own pace, express their individuality, and learn through everyday outdoor activities in changing weather. The school also arranges trips that include cultural and sporting experiences, such as paddling, climbing, and skating.

A wooden building with views of Ještěd provides the school’s base. VENKU offers information and guidance for families, including recommended clothing and equipment, daily routines, meal information, educational programs, and school documents.
