Súkromná materská škola Montessori is a private preschool serving families in Zvolen and Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. Guided by Montessori principles, the school offers children a caring, respectful introduction to early education and a prepared environment that encourages curiosity, discovery and learning through experience. Its approach recognizes each child’s individual abilities, needs and differences, rather than expecting everyone to take part in the same activities at the same time.

Children learn with educational Montessori materials designed to make exploration enjoyable while supporting the development of knowledge and skills. In age-mixed groups, they are encouraged to become independent and responsible, show empathy, and respect themselves and the people and world around them. Teachers act as guides, supporting each child’s development and helping them realize their potential in partnership with parents. The school also shares information about its educational approach, daily routine, team, fees and enrolment, and provides references, updates and a virtual tour of its premises. Its locations are in Zvolen and at an additional workplace in Banská Bystrica.
