Skördefest

Skördefesten på Åland is an annual autumn harvest festival celebrating the islands’ countryside, local food and entrepreneurship. Organised by the association Skördefestens Vänner, the event brings visitors and local producers together for a weekend of rural experiences. Participating farms open their doors, offering a glimpse of everyday life and the work behind Åland’s food. Restaurants and food producers showcase local ingredients and dishes, while craft destinations, cultural attractions and other activities add variety to the programme.

Visitors can explore farms, eateries and pop-up destinations, consult the festival map and programme, and find information about opening hours, travel and accommodation. The festival also promotes choosing locally produced food through its #axgan theme and Åland’s culinary manifesto. A programme booklet and festival lottery are among the ways guests can take part, shop and support the countryside. Skördefestens Vänner also invites people to become members, sponsor the event or otherwise support its work. Skördefest på Åland is part of a broader calendar of local events that includes Åland Grönskar and Åland Glimrar.
