Skövde RF

Skövde Ryttarförening (SRF) is a nonprofit equestrian association serving people interested in riding and horses in Skövde municipality and the surrounding area. A member of the Swedish Equestrian Federation, it operates primarily as a riding school and also offers horse boarding, competitions and training. Its town-centre facility is home to around 30 horses and ponies, supporting activities for approximately 300 active riding members, from age three to over 80.

SRF provides riding opportunities for a wide range of abilities, from introductory sessions for young children to more advanced training groups. It also has groups for people with disabilities, as well as riding camps and other activities. Members and visitors can make use of the riding facilities, including an outdoor cross-country course, subject to the association’s schedules and rules. The club also encourages community involvement through volunteer opportunities, a youth section and events. Guided by its vision and values, Skövde Ryttarförening aims to develop its activities over the long term in collaboration with its members and the municipality, bringing people and horses together through accessible equestrian sport.
