Skovløberne Rold

Skovløberne Rold is a social running club based in Skørping, Denmark, welcoming people who enjoy running or walking in the forest. Its activities take place in Rold Skov and Rebild Bakker, with organised sessions throughout the year starting from Skørping Sports Centre. The club offers five different groups, catering to varied paces and distances, and its trainers are trained by DGI, the Danish sports organisation.

Members can run on forest paths, trail routes and gravel roads, or join group walks that begin at the same meeting point. Scheduled sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with running offered at both 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m., and walking at 5:30 p.m. The club also arranges weekend outings in the forest and visits to various recreational running events. These activities are coordinated through the club’s Facebook page, where members can share inspiration and connect. Skovløberne Rold provides an inclusive way to enjoy outdoor exercise and community in the local landscape.
