SKSKI

Sei Kosho Shorei Kai International (SKSKI) is a martial arts organization dedicated to preserving and teaching the Kosho Shorei Ryu and Kempo traditions associated with James M. Mitose. Founded and led by Bruce Juchnik Hanshi, the organization presents historical and instructional material intended to help students understand the art’s development, teachings, and practice. Its website describes Juchnik as the recipient of Menkyo Kaiden and Inka Shomei certification from Mitose and states that he authorizes the information shared there.

SKSKI supports martial artists through its dojo network, membership, educational resources, and events, including The Gathering, where instructors from different disciplines teach students. Its offerings include a distance-learning program with 19 instructional videos and two reference manuals covering core Kosho Ryu concepts, their application across martial arts, and sword and jo weapon arts. The organization also provides resources on preparatory, escaping, manipulative, striking, and throwing arts, as well as healing arts such as shiatsu massage.
