SK Start

SK Start Praha is a sports club based on Střelecký Island in central Prague, offering a range of recreational activities in a calm, family-friendly setting. Its outdoor facilities host tennis, football tennis, volleyball, table tennis and other sports, with opening hours varying by season. Visitors can make reservations online.

The club also runs archery instruction through an academy led by experienced, trained coaches. Lessons take place on the island, and beginner equipment is available to borrow. For events, SK Start offers spaces for team-building activities, corporate or personal gatherings, celebrations and weddings, accommodating groups from small parties to several hundred people.

Beyond Prague, the club operates Chata Start, a mountain lodge in Pec pod Sněžkou that provides year-round accommodation at an affordable price and an authentic traditional-chalet experience. SK Start Praha welcomes visitors at its Střelecký ostrov location and provides reception assistance in Czech and English. Its services bring together sport, instruction, event venue rental and mountain lodging under one club.
