Skugga is a brand that brings together the worlds of high-quality tree-to-cup/bar production and lifestyle design. Our commitment to artisan handcrafted products is showcased through our range of single-origin coffee, tea, and chocolate. Skugga started in 2016 as a family venture in the coffee business, with a 250 Rai (100 Acre) plantation located in the scenic mountains outside of Chiang Mai. The brand's name, derived from the Swedish word meaning "shade", pays homage to our shade-grown forest coffee. Skugga's success lies in our genuine tree-to-bar/cup approach, emphasizing quality, craftsmanship, authenticity, honesty, knowledge sharing, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our estate, nestled in the mountain forest, is home to a variety of facilities. From our Farm, we process all our products and house the Chocolate Bar, Tea Bar, Roll Bar Bakery, BarBQ, Roastery, Gift Shop, and Skugga Classic Car Garage. Additionally, we have expanded into other crops such as cacao, avocado, and macadamia. Our new Vineyard, located near the farm, will feature a tasting room, cellar, and restaurant. We are also excited to announce the Forest Cabin project, offering accommodation next to the Vineyard. Opening in 2024, it will include the Skugga Gin Bar in the reception building.
