Skull Skates is a skateboarding brand and retailer offering boards, apparel, accessories, and a deep look into skate culture and history. Its online shop features complete skateboards and decks for street, transition, longboarding, and old-school skating, along with wheels and hardware. The range also includes snowboards, clothing for men, women, and youth, headwear, stickers, music, and special collections such as Barrier Kult. Apparel includes T-shirts, long-sleeve tops, sweatshirts, bottoms, and swimwear.
The brand’s distinctive skull logo began as a design cut from grip tape on a skateboard deck, giving it the jagged look that became part of its identity. Beyond retail, Skull Skates shares its heritage through an extensive online skateboard museum, as well as bike and snowboard museums, archival articles, interviews, photography, art, and event coverage. Its site also highlights PD’s Hotshop and Skull Skates Japan. Through products and historical content, Skull Skates connects practical skateboarding gear with the communities, creativity, and legacy of board sports.
