About SK Velo Praha
SK Velo Praha is a youth cycling club in Prague focused on helping children and teenagers develop their riding skills, confidence, and enjoyment of cycling. The club offers regular training, primarily on mountain bikes, and welcomes new members throughout the year. From spring to autumn, sessions take place outdoors, where riders learn the fundamentals of handling a bike on varied terrain.
Children and young people interested in competition can join additional training and take part in cross-country Olympic (XCO) races in Prague and elsewhere in the Czech Republic. For riders who enjoy more technical trails and demanding terrain, the club also has an enduro group. Training locations include Libuš, Prokopské údolí, and areas in western Prague.
During winter, the club uses a gym in Písnice and an indoor cycling track in Motol. For younger children aged five to eight, SK Velo Praha offers SK Velo KIDS, a separate cycling club designed as an introduction to the sport
