Skydive Häme is a Finnish skydiving club operated by Hämeen laskuvarjourheilijat ry, based at Vesivehmaa in Asikkala, roughly an hour’s drive from Helsinki. It welcomes first-time jumpers and experienced skydivers, offering tandem jumps, beginner training, and information and services for licensed members.
Tandem jumps provide an introduction to skydiving, with participants experiencing freefall from 3,000–4,000 metres while attached to an experienced tandem instructor. The club emphasizes instructor guidance and safety, allowing newcomers to focus on the jump and the Finnish lake scenery. For those who want to jump independently, its beginner course runs over a weekend and teaches the essential knowledge and skills for a first solo parachute jump, setting students on the path toward a skydiving licence.
Skydive Häme also supports visiting and returning licensed jumpers with practical information, including details for the start of the season, visits, and pricing. The organization shares updates and answers frequently asked questions, and provides an online shop. Its drop zone is at Lentotie 105, Asikkala, Finland.
