Skylarkfishingtrips

Skylark Fishing Trips is a Scarborough-based boat fishing operator offering trips from the town’s Golden Ball Slipway in North Yorkshire. Its 35-foot wooden vessel, Skylark, is powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine and cruises at around eight knots. Trips range from three to ten hours, with fishing options that include rough-ground and wreck fishing, winter inshore fishing, mackerel fishing, and fishing with shads. The business welcomes individuals and groups, including families, birthday parties, and stag parties, and also caters for coastal photography outings.

First-time anglers are welcome, with help available for baiting hooks and unhooking catches. Rods and reels are provided for use, while basic fishing tackle and bait can be supplied at additional cost; guests may also bring their own equipment. Customers can keep the fish they catch if they wish. Children may join trips depending on sea conditions, and the operator recommends that children under 12 start with a three-hour outing.
