SkyReach Aerospace is developing a novel tailsitter that improves on the control and reliability of previous tailsitters while maintaining a simplistic design with fewer actuating components than comparable quadplanes or tiltrotors. The vehicle will achieve VTOL with the body positioned vertically, then pitch to align the wings horizontally for efficient forward flight to achieve the range, speed, and endurance requirements.
