About Skyrunning
The International Skyrunning Federation (ISF) is the governing body of skyrunning, a sport that involves mountain running over challenging terrain. The ISF hosts a variety of events, including biennial World Championships, Continental Championships, and annual Championships. These events encompass a range of skyrunning disciplines, such as the Vertical Kilometer® and snow skyrunning.
The ISF also offers a ranking system that measures athletes' performances in Championships, Skyrunner® World Series (SWS) races, and Continental Championships (CC) races. Additionally, the ISF provides a Certified Course Label to guarantee the technical level and authenticity of skyrunning races. To participate in ISF Championships and access ranking data, skyrunners can obtain the new ISF card.
