Sky Volleyball Club is a community volleyball organization serving Vernon and the Okanagan. It offers high-quality training, competitive opportunities, and a supportive environment for athletes of different ages and skill levels. The club’s mission is to encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong enjoyment of volleyball.
Programs range from youth development clinics and co-ed Smashball to SKY League, an athlete development league that helps prepare players for club teams. Player development sessions focus on core skills such as passing, setting, hitting, and serving. Club teams train and compete in regional, provincial, and national tournaments, giving athletes opportunities to progress from beginner levels to more advanced competition.
SKY also provides resources, policies, seasonal updates, tryouts, and events for coaches, parents, and team managers. Special events bring athletes and coaches together to share knowledge and strengthen the volleyball community. The club works with local businesses, sponsors, and sports organizations to help make participation accessible. It also offers SKY merchandise and welcomes businesses interested in sponsorship.
