About Skywarn
Skywarn Deutschland e. V. is an esteemed non-profit organization dedicated to providing real-time, on-the-ground severe weather reports.
For over 15 years, we have been actively engaging in volunteer work, allowing individuals to report severe weather events via our app or phone line. Each report is promptly disseminated to subscribers like the German Weather Service, Unwetterzentrale, and interested citizens, contributing significantly to enhancing and refining storm warnings. Our clearly defined reporting guidelines, developed in close collaboration with the German Weather Service, ensure the accuracy and quality of the reports.
Interested in becoming a Spotter? Simply register as a Basic Spotter to start reporting weather incidents via our hotline or app. We also offer a certification program for Advanced Spotters, prioritizing their reports. Join us in our mission and make a difference today! Check out our website for more information and stay informed about our upcoming events and latest storm reports
