SkyWings

SkyWings is an Auckland-based paragliding school and adventure retailer, described as New Zealand’s longest-operating and only not-for-profit paragliding school. With more than 30 years of experience, it offers training in paragliding, paramotoring and speed flying, with a focus on safe, enjoyable flying and a passion for the sport. The school presents paragliding as a foundation for developing flying skills, paramotoring as an accessible form of powered aviation, and speed flying as a high-adrenaline discipline. Flight training and tandem trial flights are currently suspended until further notice.

Alongside its training services, SkyWings operates an outdoor adventure store selling flying equipment and related products from brands including Phi, Nova, Ozone and ITV. Its website also provides information about repair services, frequently asked questions, and shop policies. SkyWings supports the HighSide flight park and its community-focused aims, including coastal habitat restoration, mental-health support and opportunities for pilots and local communities to connect. Based in Waiuku, Auckland, SkyWings invites people to explore its flying disciplines, equipment and community initiatives.
