SKŻ Horyzont

SKŻ Horyzont is a sailing association and watersports club founded in 2008 to promote sailing and active recreation on the water. Its main base is a marina on picturesque Lake Pilchowickie, near Pilchowice Dam in Poland, where visitors and members can enjoy the lakeside setting and access equipment rentals. The public rental service offers sailboats, kayaks, pedal boats, and rowing boats, with options available with or without a motor.

The club provides sailing courses, including training for the Polish yacht sailor qualification, as well as motorboat courses and sailing activities for children through its Optimist sailing school. Its offer also includes yacht charters in the Masurian Lakes region and sea voyages. Beyond instruction and boating, SKŻ Horyzont organizes sailing events such as regattas and shanty concerts, while encouraging other watersports and outdoor leisure. The association describes its community as built around the involvement of members, their families, and supporters, and welcomes new people interested in sailing and recreation by the water.
