The Sierra Leone Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau (SL-AAIIB), is the Authority under the Ministry of Transport and Aviation that is charged with the responsibility to investigate any civil aircraft accident and/or serious incident arising out of, or in the course of air navigation and occurring either in or over Sierra Leone, or occurring to Sierra Leonean aircraft elsewhere, or another aircraft involving Sierra Leonean passengers.
