Sladebrook Equine LLC provides equine bodywork throughout Central Virginia, with services offered by Courtney Davis, ESMT, since 2013. A lifelong horsewoman familiar with a range of disciplines, Courtney has worked with racehorses, show horses and pleasure horses, and specializes in racehorses and eventers. Her training includes Equissage certification, advanced myofascial release study, and Level 1 craniosacral therapy.
Services are tailored to each horse and include sports massage to address muscle tension and support mobility, gentle myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, kinesiology taping and Reiki. The approaches may be used individually or in combination to support relaxation, flexibility and the horse’s bodywork needs.
Appointments are available by contacting Sladebrook Equine by phone, text or email; show visits are by appointment. The business lists weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and asks clients to call or text for current pricing. Its books are listed as closed through summer 2026. Horses should be groomed and accessible at appointment time, and clients are asked to reschedule if a horse or barn has an active infection.
