Slægtshistorisk Forening Guldborgsund is a Danish genealogy association for people who live in Guldborgsund Municipality or have ancestors there. Founded in Nykøbing Falster in 1984, the organization brings together members researching family histories across Denmark and abroad. Its purpose is to encourage knowledge of genealogical research through shared activities, educational talks and practical support.

Members receive free admission to the association’s lectures, typically five or six each year, a twice-yearly email newsletter, access to an internal directory of who is researching where, and opportunities to join mentoring, beginner and DNA study groups. The association also provides resources on local historical sources, archives, church records, names and research methods.

At a regular genealogy café hosted at Guldborgsund Library, members offer help with research questions, including historical handwriting, census and military records, property information, and online databases. The association also organizes courses and maintains a Facebook page for news and updates. Its activities support both newcomers and experienced family historians in pursuing their research.
