SlaterConsult

SlaterConsult is a retained executive search and strategic advisory firm helping companies make critical hires across international markets. Founded in Denmark and expanded to the United States, the firm draws on its own experience building in unfamiliar markets to guide clients through high-stakes recruitment decisions. Its work spans Europe and North and South America, with a focus on renewable energy and power, defense and aerospace, advanced manufacturing and automation, life sciences and biotechnology, and software and technology.

SlaterConsult recruits for leadership, technical, and commercial roles, particularly when businesses are entering new regions or need expertise in cross-market hiring. Rather than starting with candidate lists, the firm begins by understanding the role, business priorities, and local market conditions. Its retained search process includes an initial working session, ongoing dialogue and calibration, candidate assessment and recommendations, interviews, reference checks, onboarding support, and check-ins during the first 60 days. Leadership searches in cross-market environments typically take six to twelve weeks.
