Slaunched Guide Service is a Texas-based fishing guide business founded in 2021 by Christian Gladfelter, a lifelong bass angler and former competitive tournament fisherman. The service specializes in trophy largemouth bass trips on Lake J.B. Thomas, with select opportunities at O.H. Ivie Reservoir. Drawing on decades of experience and more than 900 double-digit bass boated, Gladfelter helps anglers pursue a personal-best catch while building their fishing knowledge and skills.
Trips are tailored to each angler’s experience and goals, from beginners seeking their first trophy bass to seasoned fishermen refining their approach. Guided instruction covers bass behavior, seasonal patterns, fishing techniques, and the use of forward-facing sonar, including interpreting live imaging and selecting bait presentations. The service also emphasizes responsible fish handling and conservation to help protect trophy bass and fisheries.
For anglers interested in destinations beyond Texas, Slaunched Guide Service promotes fishing trips to Mexico’s Lake El Salto and Baccarac, with all-inclusive lodge stays and equipped boats.
