Slideways Showdown is a grassroots drifting series focused on bringing drivers and fans together through accessible motorsport events in northeast Ohio. Promoted as a home for drift in the region, it welcomes participants at every experience level, from beginners seeking their first seat time to seasoned drivers looking for competitive challenges. The series offers competitive drift events, open practice days, and drift clinics, with solo runs and skill-matched tandem driving encouraged.
Beginners can start with solo practice, while intermediate drivers can build confidence and improve in a relaxed setting. Events are listed for Kuhnle Motorsports Park in 2026, and the organization provides an event schedule to help visitors plan ahead. Slideways Showdown emphasizes community, fun, skill development, and time on track, aiming to create a supportive environment for learning and progression.
Spectators can also attend to watch the drifting action, with tickets available through the site. Its website features event information, driver rules and technical guidance, media, a gallery, and contact details, alongside connections to the NE Ohio Drifting Facebook Group and social channels
