Users can view place names and choose from preset scenarios spanning geological history, past climate events, and possible future outcomes.

Options include the Ice Age, the Last Interglacial, the Cretaceous seas, the Mediterranean’s ancient drainage, melting Greenland or all ice, and a 2100 worst-case projection. The simulator also offers striking reference points, such as submerging the Statue of Liberty’s head or lowering seas to the Dead Sea floor.
