About Slimey Crud Run
The Slimey Crud Café Racer Run is a biannual motorcycle gathering organized by the Slimey Crud Motorcycle Gang LLC in southern Wisconsin. Held on the first Sunday of May and October, the event brings riders together for an informal ride from Pine Bluff to Leland and back. Participants choose their own route, travel at their own pace, and can stay as long or as briefly as they wish. The usual gathering points are the Red Mouse Bar in Pine Bluff and Sprecher’s Bar in Leland.
Dating back to the early 1970s, the Run has grown organically into a rolling motorcycle show, attracting riders from across the Midwest and beyond. Although its name references café racers, the event welcomes a wide variety of motorcycles, including vintage and classic models, touring bikes, choppers, adventure bikes, and more. Attendance can range from about 1,000 to 3,000 machines. The organization’s website provides event dates, riding guidance, information about the gathering, and suggestions for nearby Madison-area hotels.
