About Edward H. Wolf Schleisingerville to Slinger Historical Museum
Schleisingerville to Slinger Historical Museum is a volunteer-operated, self-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Slinger, Wisconsin. Located in the historic 1911 Union Depot in downtown Slinger, the museum opened in 2020 and features 5,000 square feet of exhibits tracing the community’s story from its founding in 1845 to the present. Visitors can explore photographs, documents, memorabilia, military displays, church and school collections, railroad exhibits, and a model railroad layout, as well as learn about local businesses such as Storck Brewing Co., Schaefer Pipe Organ Factory, and Standard Machinery Co.
A digital research kiosk supports local history exploration, and the museum also offers a walking history tour, educational programs, and private tours by arrangement. Admission is free during regular opening hours. The museum welcomes artifact donations and loans, and offers individual, family, business, and lifetime memberships.
Volunteers can assist as docents or with research, collections, and other tasks. Its online store sells Slinger-themed merchandise, with profits supporting the museum’s mission
