SLNY

Suomen Lastenneurologinen Yhdistys (SLNY), the Finnish Society of Child Neurology, is a professional association dedicated to advancing research, care and prevention in paediatric neurological disorders. It also works to promote scientific progress and strengthen clinical expertise in child neurology and related disciplines.

The association supports research and professional development by organizing scientific meetings and courses, sharing information about training opportunities, and providing members with access to meeting minutes, newsletters and educational materials. It publicizes relevant Finnish and international training events, including activities coordinated with other national and international organizations in the field. SLNY also collaborates with domestic partners and international professional societies, and may submit proposals or provide statements to public authorities on relevant matters.

Membership is open by application to licensed physicians in Finland who work in child neurology; applications require two recommenders. The society also offers information about the Märta Donner grant application process to members. Through education, collaboration and advocacy, SLNY contributes to the development of knowledge and practice in child neurology.
