The Slovenian Air Traffic Controllers' Association (SLOATCA) is a voluntary non-profit organization and a proud member of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Association (IFATCA). Comprised of dedicated professionals in Slovenia, including Air Traffic controllers, Flight Data and Flight Information Service Officers, and Aeronautical Information Specialists, SLOATCA was founded in 1988 with a mission to promote safety, efficiency, and regularity in international air navigation. Their primary objective is to maintain a high standard of knowledge and professional efficiency among their members while assisting in the development of safe and orderly systems of Air Traffic Control.

SLOATCA is committed to protecting and safeguarding the interests of the Air Traffic Control profession, forging mutual benefit affiliations with other international professional organizations. By joining SLOATCA, members gain access to vital information about new technologies, procedures, and global ATC operations, enabling them to bring their voice to the international stage and represent their profession. Additionally, SLOATCA's affiliation with IFATCA allows them to provide input into crucial ICAO processes and initiatives, ensuring a balanced state and service provider relationship at a global level
