SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) is a reputable day centre dedicated to caring for the homeless population in Slough and those at risk of homelessness. We believe everyone deserves a home and, at the very least, a bed for the night. Since our establishment in 1997, we have positively impacted the lives of numerous individuals.

Our services encompass both crisis care and long-term transformative assistance, aimed at fostering independence. Our commitment and unwavering dedication have been recognized through prestigious accolades, including the Slough Mayor's Charity of the Year award in 2011, a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2012, and the TVP Area Commander's Commendation in 2020. At SHOC, we offer meals, showers, and invaluable coaching hours to those in need.

Additionally, we rely on the support of compassionate volunteers who generously contribute their time and skills to assist our staff and interact with our guests. Becoming a SHOC sponsor or making a financial donation greatly aids in sustaining our crucial work.
