Slow Food France is the French network of the international, nonprofit Slow Food movement, which works to give food a valued place in society and promote food that is good, clean and fair. It supports fair compensation for producers, celebrates local flavors and traditions, and connects food with cultural knowledge and biodiversity. Its work is built around three pillars: protecting biodiversity, providing food and taste education, and advocating for more sustainable food systems.
Slow Food France supports projects that protect endangered food products, traditional production methods, distinctive ecosystems, native animal breeds and local plant varieties.
