Slwsd is a community development district established in 1990, covering an impressive 4,600 acres in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Committed to providing exceptional services to its residents, Slwsd offers a range of essential services including potable water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection, treatment, and reuse, landscape maintenance, and drainage and water management. The district also boasts a state-of-the-art reclaim irrigation system.

Guided by a dedicated five-member Board of Supervisors, all of whom are residents of the district, Slwsd is staffed with over 50 professionals who ensure the smooth operation of the district's general services, as well as water and wastewater services. Both board members and staff adhere to Florida's Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, ensuring the utmost ethical standards in their work. With a cutting-edge water treatment plant, extensive water transmission and distribution lines, and a wastewater treatment plant, Slwsd has the capacity to serve over 6,800 customers.
