Santé Meilleure

Santé Meilleure–Vie Meilleure (SM-VM) is a health and development association based in Lomé, Togo. Its mission is to promote health and sustainable development while combating sexual violence and reducing inequalities in access to care. The association focuses on prevention, health education, sexual and reproductive health, hygiene, epidemiological monitoring, and support for vulnerable communities. Its work also addresses sexually transmitted infections and the physical, mental, and social well-being of people in educational settings.

SM-VM works to improve healthcare access by creating or rehabilitating health centres, equipping medical facilities, and strengthening the skills of healthcare staff and aides. It supports access to treatment and health products at lower cost for disadvantaged populations and seeks to reduce mortality. Other activities include building sanitation facilities, providing outreach health campaigns in local prefectures, and organizing seminars, workshops, open days, and conferences. The association also informs and educates communities through communication initiatives and radio and television appearances. Based in the Adidogomé-Klémé-Zanguéra area of Lomé, SM-VM invites supporters to contribute to its work through donations.
