SMAC, or System Martial Arts Chris, is a martial arts and fitness gym based on Via Cristoforo Colombo in Turin, Italy. Its approach places the individual at the center of training, adapting techniques to each person’s abilities and needs rather than requiring students to fit a fixed system. Alongside correct technique and physical development, SMAC emphasizes personal growth, ethical conduct, self-respect, and respect for others, guided by the principle of neither overpowering nor allowing oneself to be overpowered.

The gym offers martial arts and self-defense disciplines including Panantukan, Kali, and Jeet Kune Do, as well as boxing, kickboxing, and K-1. Its women’s self-defense course teaches practical techniques and focuses on recognizing and avoiding danger, managing stress, and building confidence. For fitness, SMAC provides adaptable circuit-training sessions using the Tabata method, with equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells. Training is available in group classes or private lessons, with a free trial offered to help newcomers choose a suitable discipline.
