Smaf Touseau is a gardening and home-improvement advice brand led by André Touseau, a retired landscape professional based in Quimper, Brittany. After 28 years working independently and as a Daniel Moquet franchisee in Finistère, André now shares practical knowledge through an online magazine focused on gardening, DIY projects and outdoor design. His guidance is shaped by experience in Breton conditions, including local rain, wind and acidic soils, and is presented in clear, accessible language.

The site features advice on garden planting and maintenance, with particular attention to hostas, shade-loving plants, hedges and garden borders. André cultivates more than 200 hosta varieties and has been a member of the French Hosta Society since 2001. Readers can also find detailed DIY guides for projects such as building a wooden deck or pallet compost bin, and repairing or treating a damaged wooden fence. Articles explore broader landscaping ideas too, including naturalistic gardens, decorative vegetable plots and garden path materials.
