Small Human Montessori is a Greek-speaking Montessori kindergarten in Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus. Founded by Yria Sotiropoulou, the school began operating in September 2023 and is approved by Cyprus’s Ministry of Education and Ministry of Labor. It provides early childhood education for children aged two to six, with classes organised for ages two to three and three to six. Its three-year mixed-age cycle enables children to remain with the same teachers and peer group over consecutive years.

The school applies the Montessori approach, creating a prepared classroom where children learn through hands-on activities and carefully designed educational materials. Teachers prepare the environment, observe each child and offer guidance, supporting learning at an individual pace. The program aims to nurture curiosity, creativity, concentration, independence, self-confidence and a lasting love of learning. Small Human Montessori also highlights imaginative play, healthy meals and a safe, inclusive setting. Families can explore the program, learn about the admissions process, book a school tour and find information about Montessori through the school’s website.
