Smart-XP

Smart-XP is a family-run German business behind Cockpit-XP, a race-timing and lap-counting system for electronic slot-car tracks. Made in Germany and developed for more than 15 years, the software supports Carrera Digital 124, 132 and 143 tracks, as well as analog and mixed setups. It is designed to provide reliable timing and flexible race management for home tracks and events.

Cockpit-XP can display race information across up to eight monitors connected to a PC, without requiring Wi-Fi or internet access. Users can customize race screens and add-ons or download ready-made options online. Features include driver profiles, statistics, series races for up to 250 participants, and formats such as everyone-versus-everyone and automatic mode. Depending on the setup and hardware, users can also add functions such as pit-lane speed limits, refuelling, a start-light system and emergency stop controls.

Smart-XP offers software downloads and USB-based options, along with hardware such as its USB SmartModule and products based on Arduino or Carrera’s Control Unit.
