Founded by the four Dublin Local Authorities, their goal is to future-proof the city by trialing and scaling innovative solutions to a wide range of local challenges. Smart Dublin focuses on six key themes: Environment, People, Mobility, Economy, Government, and Living.

Under these themes, they seek innovative solutions to local problems. They explore how technology can help build a greener, more sustainable Dublin, improve citizen engagement, manage pedestrian and vehicle flows, enhance liveability and competitiveness, make better decisions through data, and bring communities together for improved well-being. By promoting collaboration and innovation, Smart Dublin aims to build a better and more resilient Dublin.
