Cockpit-IT GmbH develops smartEFB, a European-based electronic flight bag solution designed to support operators with practical workflows, direct assistance, and hands-on EFB expertise. Its software brings flight planning and operational information into the cockpit, helping reduce manual work for pilots and back-office teams.

smartEFB includes an active navigation log that detects waypoint passage, pilot notes linked to locations or times, real-time air traffic control data, and tools to import takeoff and landing performance calculations. Crews can add documents, photos, and emails to flight folders, while the system manages file storage and uploads. Adaptive fuel calculations account for flight-level changes, and integrations with Leon, PPS, and Skylegs connect flight, journey-log, and rostering data.

For post-flight operations, the Flight Viewer compares planned and actual routes and supports checks of documents, signatures, weather reports, and briefing materials. Additional capabilities include flight summaries, contingency-fuel analysis, ReFuelEU reporting, and crew radiation exposure reports.
