SmarterKids is a non-profit organization that provides the means to better educate rural Nepalese youth through the use of information media and technology; which gives the public benefit of advancing rural development, relieving of poverty and providing better employment opportunities for these youth tomorrow. The SmarterKids mandate is as follows: 1. To foster, improve and support sustainable education of rural Nepalese youth through the use of technological means including notebooks, laptops, and other Internet-enabled word processing devices (i.e. smartphones, tablets). 2. To measurably increase the computer and Internet literacy rates of rural Nepalese youth with a view on creating a sustainable education and future skill set 3. To knowledge-share experiences and training on developing youth to benefit from the digital economy by using technology for a better future

About SmarterKids
SmarterKids, co-founded by Nirajan Chaulagain and Jason King, is a brand dedicated to supporting the betterment of youth through technology. Their mission is to provide the means to better educate rural Nepalese youth using information media, broadband connectivity, and technology. By advancing rural development, relieving poverty, and creating better employment opportunities, SmarterKids aims to shape a brighter future for the youth of tomorrow.
To achieve their goals, SmarterKids accepts new and used notebooks, desktops, laptops, and other Internet-enabled devices to support youth education. They also welcome volunteers to work in-country and abroad to help fulfill their mission. Whether through donating computer equipment, monetary contributions, volunteering time, or spreading the word, every form of support is valued.
