Designed for organizations operating their own mail servers, it helps improve inbox placement and reduce delivery problems associated with blacklisted, dynamic, or low-reputation IPs. The service supports common platforms including Exchange, Postfix, IceWarp, Axigen, and Lotus Domino, as well as mail generated by websites, ERP and CRM systems, and transactional workflows such as order confirmations, invoices, password resets, and one-time codes.
Customers configure their existing server to relay messages through Smarthost, with SPF and DKIM support, TLS encryption, delivery logs, and queued retries for messages that cannot be delivered immediately. The provider also offers ETRN/MX Backup: when a customer’s mail server is unavailable, incoming messages can be queued and delivered automatically once it is back online.
