About Smartmobilityterhills
Smart Mobility Terhills is an initiative focused on developing sustainable, connected transport at Terhills, a destination with attractions and activities that visitors need to move between. Supported by an European Regional Development Fund (EFRO) project, the initiative aims to create a multimodal transport network that links the site through a range of travel options. Its mobility app helps users access the available transport modes and plan how to get around Terhills.
The project also presents the area as a testing ground for autonomous vehicles, exploring how self-driving transport could become a practical part of everyday mobility. A planned final component was a system of autonomous shuttles, with implementation targeted for the end of 2022. The website also shares information about the project and its work on innovative mobility solutions, including a video and coverage of a conference on autonomous mobility.
