Welcome to Smashfire Designs, where we create unique and captivating jewelry for those who dare to be different. We understand that you don't follow trends, you create them, with your own distinctive style infused with a nostalgic flair. Our designer, Kim, started her journey in 2003, crafting fun and colorful beaded necklaces and earrings.
But she soon craved a more creative outlet, which led her to metalsmithing in 2007. After years of dedication and hard work, Kim now produces high-quality jewelry without sacrificing her unique vision. Inspired by mid-century modern art and design, as well as Tiki culture, Kim meticulously handcrafts each piece in her workshop in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
Using sterling silver, brass, copper, and semi-precious gemstones, she infuses love, passion, and soul into every creation. She also incorporates unconventional materials like boomerang laminate countertop and powder coating to make each piece a conversation starter. By offering a modern twist on retro, vintage, and Tiki-inspired designs, Smashfire Designs keeps the spirit of the 50s and 60s alive.
