Smedjan Blackeberg

Smedjan Blackeberg is a creative workshop and craft space in Blackeberg, Bromma, founded and run by artists Agnes and Maki. With more than ten years of professional experience in contemporary craft, they share their knowledge of silver and metalwork through welcoming classes for adults and children. Courses range from introductory, evening, weekend and daytime sessions to longer programmes, as well as specialist workshops in engagement and wedding rings, stone setting and sand casting. No previous experience is required, and participants can learn techniques while making their own jewellery.

The studio also offers a smithing club, a shop featuring its own jewellery and selected craft objects, and gift cards for courses and products. Visitors can enquire about buying or ordering jewellery and unique handmade pieces. Smedjan Blackeberg hosts exhibitions and pop-up shops, creating opportunities for artists to show their work and for the local community to experience craft in different materials. Located on Grundtvigsgatan, the studio welcomes visitors to stop by or arrange a visit in advance; opening hours may vary.
