Smith and Bevill Jewelers is a family-owned brand that has been in the jewelry business since 1957. It all started with Laurence Smith, a truck driver and battalion watchmaker during World War II. After the war, he established his business in downtown Beaverton. In 1974, he partnered with Bill Bevill, a veteran and trained master watchmaker and gemologist fresh from the Navy. Together, they built Smith & Bevill Jewelers.

Over the years, their business has flourished, and their family has grown too. From their humble beginnings, their store has evolved into a 7000 square foot showroom and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The team, which includes Angela and Gina, their daughters, and even their dog Dolce, takes pride in providing exceptional service to their customers. The brand boasts a full staff of skilled craftsmen, including gem setters, master metal smiths, and watchmakers, as well as certified gemologist appraisers and an AGS-accredited lab.
