Smith Lake Fishing Adventures

Smith Lake Fishing Adventures is a guided fishing charter service based in Arley, Alabama, specializing in striped bass fishing on Lewis Smith Lake. Led by Captain Keith Prather, the business offers year-round trips designed to make fishing engaging, educational, and enjoyable for anglers of different experience levels. Guests fish using live bait, including legally caught blueback herring and shad, as well as artificial lures; seasonal conditions may offer opportunities for top-water action.

Captain Keith welcomes families and children, teaching beginners the basics of striper fishing while sharing knowledge with experienced anglers. He also has experience accommodating people with physical challenges and aims to make each trip interactive while prioritizing safety. With decades of fishing experience, tournament participation, and a background in the Lanier Striper Club, he brings extensive knowledge of striped bass techniques and Smith Lake. The company is licensed and insured. Smith Lake Fishing Adventures focuses on providing memorable outings and working hard to help guests enjoy their time on the water, without guaranteeing a catch.
